Gluten-Free goodies
No, don't worry - I haven't suddenly become gluten-intolerant. I have a new friend who is, however. And I thought I'd just do a post with links to my baked goodies that are gluten-free. I don't really make an effort to keep things gf - using specialty flours or other ingredients - but I do make quite a few things that are naturally free of gluten. There are many more in my archives, but I thought I'd focus on cakes and cookies. Most of them contain nuts - so beware, if you're allergic to that.
Desserts:
Chocolate Walnut Cake
Rice Crispie Cake
Chocolate Toffee Cake
Chocolate Truffle Cake
Oscar II:s cake (Swedish Almond Cake)
Flourless Pecan Vanilla Mini Cakes
Cookies:
Chocolate Buttercream Macaroons
Ingegerd's Punsch Bars
Macarons - all of them (check out the links on the right)
Caramel Cornflake Cookies
Chocolate Meringue Cookies
Chewy Hazelnut Cookies
Chocolate Almond Orange cookies
Orange Rum Macaroons

I do need to keep to a gf diet, so it's extra nice to have a short list of bake-ables. Thanks!
Thank you SO MUCH. My daughter just recently got diagnosed as gluten intolerant and we are now on her third week with a gf diet. I love baking and my ambition is to try to do things that we all can eat and enjoy. I hope there will be more posts like this in the future.
And if any reader have some great tips how to bake gf is it OK if they post them here in comments?

Leta, Nina, I hope you'll find it useful! :) And Nina, absolutely! Gluten-Free Girl is one of the best blogs I know - Shauna's writing is excellent, and she has so many resources listed for gf cooking and baking! http://glutenfreegirl.blogspot.com
Hi, my daughter was just diagnosed wheat intolerant, and am so positively surprised that you have already given some answers to this! Great! Wheat of course is not all of the gluten, thanks God, but I have only now noticed in how many recipes (not just cakes) I have used wheat before!
