Very Swedish

swedishmeatballs09

This is very, very Swedish food. Meatballs - made from minced beef, and spiced with cloves and allspice - with boiled potatoes, gravy and lingonberry jam. Delicious!

Don't forget about the Superfood Sandwich Contest!

I know, I was lazy.. it's one of those things that I never measure. :) I started with one egg, a splash of milk and maybe 3-4 tbsp fresh breadcrumbs. That should soak in for a while. Then, add allspice, cloves, white pepper and salt, and about 400 g of minced beef. Mix, shape into small balls and fry in butter.

Didn't even realize you didn't post a recipe. Maybe because I, like you, never measure the ingredients for meatballs.

They look gorgeous though!
