Yummy dinner - Pork in Pitas

pitabrod med flaskfile

Here's something we ate a few days ago. It's pork tenderloin, cut into strips and fried in olive oil with cumin, chili and a pinch of cinnamon. It's served in warm pita breads with guacamole and pickled red onions. Truly delicious!

That is just my sort of meal! I think I would eat anything if it were stuffed into a pita or rolled up in a tortilla. But my the pork sounds good made that way. Sometimes for lunch I stuff a pita with sprouts (or lettuce), cottage cheese, and good canned tuna. Perfection!
