Breakfast of champions

Here's what I've been eating for the past week. Oatmeal porridge, topped with home made apple sauce, home made spice sugar and milk. For dessert, a small bowl of fruit, usually kiwi, raspberries and passionfruit. Delicious, and sturdy enough to keep me happy for many hours.

I've been having my spiced sugar in my coffee, Anne. Hadn't thought of using it on porridge. Thanks for recipe - how about a link for other blog readers.

Just waiting for the weather to get a little colder and then I'll change over from my summer breakfast of fruit, yoghurt and oatcakes to lovely, warm oats...

I love semolina porridge, hold the salt, add vanilla sugar and a dab of salt.
