Caesar Salad at Texas Burger

Had dinner at Texas Burger Co in Kungshallen the other day - and I had this.. umm.. inventive Caesar Salad. It was pretty good, but not great. Not enough parmesan, the dressing was tasty but not very Caesar-y, but the really cool thing was that the croutons were made from hamburger bread. And *that* was pretty good! :)

Oh, I can imagine that "Texas" burger would mean any number of things to an actual Texan :) Here, it's the name of a chain restaurant - they have restaurants and a couple of burger joints. They are actually pretty good - I've never managed to get into any of the restaurants as they're completely packed, but they're one of relatively few places that does real barbecue around here. The burgers are nice - large, juicy and fairly smokey. :)

It's really interesting to see how regional foods get translated into other areas. The salad looks really great even if I've never seen anything like it in Texas.
