Apple Slaw

(Ok, I'm pretty sure I took a photo of this. However, I can't find it right now. I'll throw it in when I find it. But I guess you don't need much visual guidance for a simple slaw, anyway.)

A simple little side dish, or sauce really, to go with a whiskey glazed chicken. I can see it work with many more things though - it has a nice balance between sweet and acidity.

Apple Slaw
makes a small bowl

1 Granny Smith apple, coarsely grated
1 tbsp mayo
3 tbsp creme fraiche
1 tsp honey
salt, pepper

Mix everything together and season to taste. Let it sit, in the fridge, for at least half an hour before serving.

We used to get something very similar to this at a local Indian restaurant - it was lovely with hot curries!
