Kung Pao Chicken

dagmars.kungpaochicken

Need a dinner idea for tonight, or the upcoming week? Well, head over to Dagmar at A Cat in the Kitchen and check out her version of Kung Pao chicken! I loved this recipe - it was really delicious! When I make it again, I think I'll use cashews instead of peanuts for a variation, and perhaps add some carrots.

Hi :]

I've been reading your blog for quite some time (it's really fantastic!), but I never left any comments.

I'm a Hong Kong girl who is currently on exchange studies in Stockholm, unfortunately leaving next month...

Just want to tell you that the cashew version of kung pao chicken is actually a very common dish in Hong Kong. The main ingredients are cashew, carrot, celery and ginger. Maybe you would like to try it :]

Kung Pao is my Husbands favourite dish from the chinese takeaway - instead of reaching for the takeaway menu on Friday night, perhaps I'll give this one a go. It looks really tasty. I'll definitely use cashews!
