Another Tosca

tosca-havre

I made another Tosca cake for my dad a while ago - he had an operation and had to stay overnight in the hospital, so I made this for him when he got home. It's different from the regular tosca in that it has oats instead of chopped nuts or almonds. It still has the flaked almonds though, and about 100 g of oats. Definitely a delicious topping, and one that I'll certainly make again.

Another really good topping is coconut flakes.

I adore tosca tart. Correction. I adored when I was living in Denmark. But I had no idea how to prepare it at home, so I was forced to forget about this delicious tart. Thanks to your recipe I can now make it on my own. Thank you for this recipe so much :-D

What a lucky dad. I've never had Tosca Cake before. Sounds like a new recipe for me to try. Thanks!

Dad was really happy :) so happy that he returned the empty plate in hopes of a refill! I'll have to make him one again, soon.

Emma - that's a great idea!

That cake looks so good it's almost worth spending a night in hospital to get your teeth into it! Hope your dad is all better now.
