Weekend Cat Blogging - Outdoor Cats

utebur-070527

Our cats are indoor only - a fact that upsets some people. I don't care at all about that, but now that we have a house, I like for the cats to be able to get a little whiff of air, and feel the grass under their tiny paws. And finally, finally we finished the big cage. We fenced in a rather big area in our backyard, and the cats can go out straight from our living room. Yeay!

my cat doesn't like walking on grass however. I've taken her out a few times on a leash and she's starting to get interested but grass...not yet

holy cow, that's probably the largest cat cage i've every seen. The cat the lives here started out as an inside cat, but as soon as we moved out of the apartment he became an outside cat. He used to sit on the roof outside our bedroom window in the apartment.

That is one cute cat, but not a cat who looks like he wants to be known as cute. Is he the boss?

Holler - spot on! :) Or well, Hamlet this he's the boss, but he's slightly peeved that the other cats don't agree. The females are above him, but they seem to be rather lax about it. :)

That's a great idea! My cats are outdoor, mostly from sneaking out every time I opened a door, it worries me to death that something will happen to them...It would be nice to have something like that for them.

Impressive! And your cats are so well-behaved about it :).

That is a giant cat carrier! Great idea !!! My cat Fang is an outdoor cat, but loves to be indoors just as much. Lucky for her the back doors are always open and she comes and goes as she pleases. She is so independent!
