Foodie Gifts: Allioli

My sister Eva was just in Spain for a month. She returned home with this sunny yellow plastic jar of allioli, also known as aïoli - a very garlicky mayonnaise, basically. Absolutely delicious as a dip, a spread or a sauce. I love it on roasted veggies.

We generally use the garlic mayonaise with certain kind of seafood e.g. cuttlefish.

Garlic mayonaise is very easy to do: 1 egg, some salt, a tablespoon of vinager, 1 garlic clove and 250ml of vegetable oil. Mix all together (very important: keep the blender in the same position just at the end of the container, those that come with the blender), few minutes and DONE! :)

Ana María E.
