Finally!!

Readers of my blog know that I have a shameful obsession with Starbucks. Well, it's finally happening - they're opening in Sweden! At least almost... they'll open at Arlanda airport, just like they have done in Denmark. At least this means I can get a frappuccino if I fly somewhere - or with lots of luck they'll open outside of the security check, and I can go there all the time. (I would, too.)

Well that TOTALLY made my day!! Now if we could only get them to other places in the country! I have a serious case of Starbucks withdrawal!

Yay!

I can bring you a frappuccino every time I come home, I can ask the taxi to stop by at your place on my way home :-)

Oh no, Starbucks in Sweden? I became a coffee drinker while I lived in Sweden in the late '80s. Höfbergs Lilja, real fikas taking everything slowly and ordentligt... now Starbucks... :D

When I lived in Sweden I was dying for a Starbucks. Then I thought about how wonderful it was not to have them...they kind of seize and concur anywhere they go. Regardless, make sure you try the "eggnog latte" around Christmas. It's the best! Hi from Washington, DC.

Hi there,
I'm totally surprised to hear that you haven't got Starbucks coffee houses in Sweden. Here in Vienna some of the Starbucks places have closed down again but we still have about 10. I also like Starbucks - especialy in winter, when they offer smoke-free coziness.

Well, if you ever come to Minnesota, skip the Starbucks and go straight to Caribou Coffee. MUCH better than Starbucks. ;-)

Anne - i Köpenhamn finns Starbucks i allmänna avdelningen, alltså precis där man står när man väntar på folk som kommer med flyget. Så man behöver inte passera security för att handla. Kanske det blir så på Arlanda också ;)
