I went back to Taxinge Slott a few weeks ago, for more fika. (See my first post about it here.)
Very yummy stuff - this time I had a cream-filled nut roll with raspberries, and a very moist, chewy nut cake. Per had the sacher torte.

I just adore Taxinge slott! We do a lemming trekk every year basically. Once in the early summer when they open for the season and then again in time for the christmas market. If you can, go back for their christmas market in the middle and end of November. They charge entry fee but it's worth every krona :). Last year we continued on to Mariefred and Gripsholms slott at our spring visit to look at the insanely looking stuffed lion from the 16th century. Gripsholm is gorgeous too.
