i have just come home after filling up the car and couldn't help but pick up a super-size bag of them myself... won't last long, I am sure!my friend and I keep having debates about how to eat them, though, peel chocolate cover first (only with your teeth and tongue, obviously), then suck the malt bit until it disintegrates or bite immediately for maximum crunch?

you should try the malteser cake in nigella lawson's feast (i think that is the one). it is delicious!
believe it or not, i have found out over the last few days that maltesers are a perfect cure for heartburn! (and believe me, I know a thing or two about this, given that I am about to have my 3rd!)A handful of maltesers munched before bedtime and i am heartburn free for the night as well as the following day - and no, I will NOT discuss my waistline here ;-)
