I know, I am so late. Time flies - it's nearly two MONTHS since we visited London, and still no pictures. All I've said is that I did go to Wagamama (fab, fab!) and we did have dinner at Kahn's, which was also great. We also went to Borough Market, which you can read a lot more about here at The Passionate Cook.
The best cheese sandwich ever.
This was our real find at Borough Market, by the way. There were these guys running a raclette stand.. this sandwich has some aged cheddar, minced garlic and leeks. And a little piece of heaven it was. Just fabulous!!

Oh. And I had - this should surprise no one - a frappuccino every day. Man, I love them. Starbucks, come here, please? Pretty please?

I do believe that's the same type of cheese sandwich that David Lebovitz lost his heart to!! I really must try one next time I go. And yes, I'm afraid Starbucks frappuccinos are rather addictive, aren't they! One year they had a dark chocolate and coconut one that was TO DIE FOR! Glad you had such a good trip :-)
Anja - I've sort of heard that too, but only as a very faint rumor. Hope it's true!
Jeanne - I looked it up, and yes! It sounds like he fell for them too :) I did make a similar one at home, but ah, not the same. Do have one, they're absolutely fab.

anne, it looks like you MUST save up for the airfare to join our foodblogger christmas party... we will have a cheese extravaganza with plenty of raclette and fondue, and of course, you're allowed to go to starbucks after!

Johanna - wow, have you set a date? Christmas shopping in London is *definitely* a good thought, and if I know in good time, I'm sure I can catch some great flights! Besides, I'll travel far for cheese.

Did you see that there is also a Wagamama cookbook? And there's even a CD included showing some of the cooking techniques which is fun to watch. I've bought it before I went away for holidays and so I hadn't the time to try the recipes until now (I also need to buy some of the special ingredient). The photos are great and the recipes look easy to follow. I'm looking very much forward to try some.
... and I can absolutely understand having a frapucchino each day. When I visited London in a very hot summer some years ago I practically lived on this delicious concoction ...
