How we eat risotto

Untitled

These days, we never mix anything into a risotto. We serve it plain. With toppings. On the side. Lots of toppings. That way, everyone can get what they like. We always have corn, peas, bacon and often mushrooms. On this occasion, we happened to have red bellpepper and cubed goat's cheese as well. A good night.

I have tons of risotto recipes in my archive.

Wow... this is a good idea. But do you add anything into the risotto when cooking, so the rice getting flavor from the ingredients...

Well, we usually add a splash of wine or dry sherry or marsala, and then onions and garlic. Sometimes a little lemon or honey in the end. And plenty of parmesan. But no other things actually in the risotto, no.
