I've been using my Nespresso Citiz for about a year now, and while I love it, I was pretty excited to try the new Nespresso Pixie. It's slightly more compact in size, but otherwise very much comparable. It's a little faster, but the difference is small. The Citiz feels sturdier and seems to have better build quality. All in all, I'm not completely sure which one I prefer...

I didn't know they came out with a smaller more compact one... We have the citzi one that you have.. and absolutely LOVE IT :)
Am I the only one on the planet that prefers a plain old cup of black coffee? The Nespresso is ok, but some of the flavors give a watery and not satisfactory taste, at least when I go to our neighbor in the country's house (I hope they don't follow this blog). I like a latte or cappucino when it has that rich taste.
It depends - sometimes we use our Mocka-Master regular coffee brewer much more, especially on weekends when we know we want more than just one cup. I love the coffee it makes. However, the Nespresso is really great for weekday mornings. I agree that some of the flavors aren't great, but I do like that you get a set with all of them when you buy your machine, so you can see which ones are to your taste. In the summer, I'm mostly using my machine to make ice lattes, which it does very well - normal coffee isn't strong enough, so you need more and that melts the ice. A shot of Nespresso over a large tumbler with ice, and then milk and perhaps a little vanilla = perfection on a warm summer morning. :)
