I recently noticed quite a few news in the candy aisle, and of course I tried them all. All in the blog readers best interest, of course! Of course!
So - first, chocolate. Marabou is the Swedish chocolate giant, and they had three new flavors. "Vinter" is the most exciting in my opinion - it's their signature milk chocolate, studded with crunchy cacao nibs and flavored with ginger, cardamom and cloves. It's very, very winter-y and gives a great christmas feeling, without being over the top gingerbread-y. I love to keep this one in the fridge, it's much tastier when cold. (Incidentally, "Sommar" was milk chocolate with freeze-dried strawberries.)
Then they have two new filled chocolate bars. Toffee & Walnut is very, very sweet and would have been much better with more walnut bits. As it is, it's a walnut-flavored toffee, and tiny bits of nuts. My bar was also quite crushed, which was disappointing, but other than that, I liked it. Raspberry & Yogurt has tiny pieces of freeze-dried raspberries which makes for a nice texture. I liked this one - it's also quite sweet, but not too much.

Åh, min barndomsfavoritchoklad från Tyskland är just med yoghurt och smultron. Såå gott, fortfarande! Ser framemot att testa Marabous variant i jul.
Jag har provat både Vinter och Raspberry-varianten, gillade ingen av dem, haha!
Får väl prova den med valnötter en annan dag... men har inga höga förväntningar kan jag säga.
yoghurt-varianten var inget vidare.
Lindt har kommit med en fylld chokladkaka, där fyllningen ska vara chokladmousse. Mjölkchokladvarianten kan jag äta hur många som helst av. Det kan tydligen andra göra också. Den tog slut på lokala Ica.
Yoghurt & hallon var übersöt... Hade tänkt testa valnötsvarianten, men då är det nog ingen idé.
Marabou Vinter ligger hemma, osmakad.
Har testat både valnöts- och yoghurtvarianterna och de är alldeles för söta, usch! Ska testa vinter också men inbillar mig att den är likadan.
Jag testade Yoghurt/Hallon och jag som avskyr hallon tyckte den var rätt okej faktiskt. Men.. den är otroligt söt och fyllig så det räcker med en liten bit. Vinterchokladen är riktigt god och jag har satt i mig 2 stycken hitils.
oh my gosh the summer version came to new york and i fell in love. completely. hope marabou will keep it - or at least do a rerun next summer. will check for the winter version at ikea :)
i bought marabou walnut and i was SO disappointed. First off i couldnt even break of a piece without it breaking and making a mess, and the taste was not such a good mix. perhaps another nut would have been better, like almond.
Have not seen the commercial for vinter, so i will look for that!
Har letat och letat efter Vinter, men inte dykt på den ännu. Låter som att den skulle kunna falla mig i smaken.
