We had a special "fika" at work today. I'm still on maternity leave, but had to come in for this - everyone was asked to bake something, and about ren people did. Lovely!
Rosemary - fika is a Swedish thing. It's both a thing, and something you do - and it's generally about having coffee (or tea) with something sweet, or not. People going out for coffe meet up for "fika". Workplaces have "fika breaks" twice a day. It's one of the first things people moving to Sweden notice and learn about, I'd say :)
