Dessert - it's Friday

Chocolate ice cream. Meringues. Caramel sauce. All of it straight from the grocery store. What can I say - first week back at work has made me exhausted!

Looks fantastic! I got an ice cream maker for my birthday and wondered if you knew of some good recipe books... So far I've made straight vanilla and today I made a double batch of salted caramel (I made the caramel from scratch and since I had some left over, I added a swirl of caramel after the ice cream was partly melted).

Hennhouse, definitely check out "The Perfect Scoop" by David Lebovitz! It's by far my favorite ice cream book! :)
