Our Princess of Fluff, Kelly, has a small secret to share.
And here, you can see the bump. In about ten days or so, I hope to show you pictures of just born kittens.
Meanwhile, Glinda and Ywette are busy suspiciously investigating the latest addition to their outdoor cage. It's simply a length of wood, but as it's new, it's definitely worth looking into. My cats are fairly easy to amuse.

I bet you can't wait to see those babies!!! I wonder where she'll have them - some people say that cats choose strange places like on top of that cashmere jumper that should have been put away!! I look forward to seeing those photos!
Easy to amuse yes, but first there's the fact that a cat takes no risk unless we _smell_ what it is ;).

The cats look like incredibly dangerous feline predators, kept in a cage for everyone's safety. One can really see the relationship of cats to their bigger relatives.
And I can't wait to see pictures of your kittens. Please take some as soon as they are born, if you can. I have never seen newborn cats? Do they have fur?

Sam, our cats are usually quite easy about that, and happily accept the box we prepare for them. I monitor them real closely the last couple of days though - I don't want them to be alone.

And I totally agree - I do see a lot of "big cats" in them.
Anne - congratulations! I can't wait to see the little kittens. Kelly is so gorgeous and fluffy - what did the Papa look like? What letter of the alphabet are you on for this batch of little kitties?

Jelly, thank you!! This will be the K-litter, and their "family name" is Kellycats, so they'll all be Kellycats K-something. Or possibly Kellycats Golden/Silver K-something. I'll definitely need name suggestions here, it's hard to find something on K that's also a theme! :) The dad is *really* beautiful - I have a few photos of him on Flickr, see if this works:

Jelly, actually countries might not be so bad! Korea, Kenya...? Um, more countries starting with a K? Maybe we'll throw in Kentucky. :) I don't think she has a whole lot of kittens though, she's not that big and she had three last time. But we'll see!

LOL - those two sniffing the piece of wood are hilarious! Our cat visitors are also too funny when there is something unfamiliar in the house - the other day Troy stalked the vacuum cleaner for a good ten minutes...
