Pink Pepper Biscotti

Copy cat time! I made these lovely biscotti (or cantucci, I really can't tell the difference) from Johanna's site a while ago, and they are lovely! They have pink peppercorns, a generous helping of ginger, and plenty of almonds for extra crunch. Do try them! (Pille has, and she loved them too!)

Hello Anne, I always read ur blog, it's intertaining and interesting. Anyway the real name of that kind of cookies is "Cantucci" or "Cantuccini" cuz in italian "biscotti" means simply "cookies". The traditional recipe came from the city of Prato in Tuscany (Italy), where (lucky me) I live. Ciao!

These look marvelous. I just love cookies with the hot bite of pepper, and the idea of pepper and ginger together is making me bounce with excitement! Thanks for posting this. :)
