Green Fruit Salad

There's not much fruit in season here, but I managed to get together a tasty green fruit salad anyway. There's galia melon, kiwi, pears, grapes, pistachios and pomegranate. (Yeah, not green, I know. I like the contrast.)

Hi Anne!
I love salads - your green fruit salad looks yummy!
have you tried using mangoes that are almost ripe? they've got a crunchy texture and perfect for salads where you need contrasts in texture. It is also easier to peel and slice. I usually divide a mango into 3 slices, the seed being the middle slice. I start off from the bottom end of the mango (where the stem starts) and slice the outer, fleshy portion trying to get as close to the seed as possible (that's the guessing part!) and then do the same to the other end, leaving the seed with as little mango as possible.

Sounds like a very tasty one. I use to make something similar. Beautiful with the green in the pale wintertime.
