Foodie Gifts: Matcha

When I got home last night, I had a message from the post office, saying I had something to pick up.. and it turned out to be a wishlist-gift from FoodFreak! She had sent me Matcha tea - all the way from Japan via Germany! I'm so excited! FINALLY, I get to try all the cool Matcha recipes I keep seeing!! Foodie gifts are totally the best!

I'm glad you like it and I am happy to see it worked out, because I had some second thoughts about mail across Europe, particularly at christmas time - would have been a pity if the matcha had got lost. I am looking forward to reading your cool matcha recipe posts :)

Seasons greetings from Hamburg,

Petra - again, thank you so much :) Seems the post isn't so busy yet, but I bet they will be soon.

Linn Beate - yes indeed! They're from Villeroy Boch, their "New Line" series. We got four of them for our wedding, and I absolutely love them :) Have a lovely Glogg-evening, and hug all your cats from me :)

A package in the mail from a fellow food person... isn't that the greatest? The one time I received one, I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning, eyes all aglow.
