Tomato Olive Salad
Well, not a salad exactly. More something to put on a piece of bread, maybe? Well, it's fine on its own too, as a tasty little side dish. If you have leftovers, try stirring them into hot pasta - instant sauce!
Tomato Olive Salad
200 g cherry tomatoes, halved
100 g black olives, pitted and finely diced
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
black pepper
2 tbsp fresh basil, finely sliced
Combine all ingredients, and season to taste. A little finely chopped onion would also work nicely in this.
