I was somewhat surprised. Perfectly chewy just like the bagels I've purchased.

I did keep them in the fridge overnight but forgot to lower the temperature during the last half of baking. I can't see that it's harmed them. I've eaten five today already, plain and untoasted!Peggyhttp://rainberryblue.blogsome.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814165.post-1917790712782059392009-07-31T18:23:55.460+02:002009-07-31T18:23:55.460+02:00Hooray!!!! The key is getting the cooked spinach completely free of liquid, which I do by wringing it out in a kitchen towel. Grate in your favourite hard cheese and they really are superb. Works well with sourdough if you have starter sitting around in the fridge.

http://www.eattheblog.blogspot.comGoodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17383404429461423998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814165.post-30211160125115444562009-07-29T22:39:47.645+02:002009-07-29T22:39:47.645+02:00Woohoo, that was fast!
