Grilled Cheese

A feeble attempt to re-create the amazing cheese sandwich I had in London, at Borough's Market. It was very good, but not the same. I used Gruyère cheese, and the bread is from Gateau, their signature bread. Delicious - and fairly close to Pain Poîlane. It also has plenty of garlic and finely minced red onions.

  2. Hi Mahek! Absolutely, of course I remember you :) Onions and garlic were raw for this - it gave quite a bite but were very tasty. Could be cooked for a more mellow taste though!

  4. Mahek - just go experiment! The beauty of sandwiches is that you can put in just about anything you'd like. I usually just use ham and cheese, but you could go with anything, mushroom stew or something like that...
