One note, however--don't run him through the dishwasher. The heat will cause the whisk to come out of the base. I wrecked Eggbert that way, and now have a stainless steel version--Eggbert II!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14748231341500700924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814165.post-50870211288486467802008-11-03T20:31:00.000+01:002008-11-03T20:31:00.000+01:00Here is one for your guilty pleasure... I said "Yo...Here is one for your guilty pleasure... I said "You have got to be kidding me!" when I first heard of it. I tried it once, and have made it at least 10 times since. It's the smoothest fudge you will ever make! the best thing to do though is to make it and feed it to friends asking what the main ingredient is, then watch their faces when you tell them it is velveeta.

Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
8 ounces Velveeta, cubed
1 1/2 pounds confectioners' sugar, about 5 cups unsifted
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup non-fat dry milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts

Preparation:
In a large saucepan over medium heat butter and cheese cubes together, stirring frequently; remove from heat. Sift together confectioners' sugar and cocoa; add to cheese, mixing well. Stir in non-fat dry milk, vanilla and nuts. Turn into a 9x9x2-inch pan; chill until firm and cut into squares. Makes about 3 pounds of Velveeta Fudge.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814165.post-43045090574677059462008-11-01T22:48:00.000+01:002008-11-01T22:48:00.000+01:00Matli - THANK you! :) Again, chili expert to the r...Matli - THANK you! :) Again, chili expert to the rescue!
