Check out my Blog for my quibbles and nibbles on the subject. Not all of it is British but it is what I spout on about the most, even to the British nation via BBC's Masterchef!

Take care
Cheers
DavidDavid Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15151266175667351992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814165.post-5137710035880482472007-04-17T08:58:00.000+02:002007-04-17T08:58:00.000+02:00Sam - oh! I'm a native English speaker, but also seem to more readily recognize puns (including cross-linguistic ones) when using other languages. We've actually thought about studying it, too - just think of the fun of coming up with experiments!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814165.post-58228742172097524962007-04-13T22:47:00.000+02:002007-04-13T22:47:00.000+02:00We are embarking on cucumhber for our greatbigvegc...We are embarking on cucumhber for our greatbigvegchallenge so we will be sure to make our very own english dish of cucumber sandwiches.
Do leave your cucumber ideas if you can
Thank you
freddie and mum
http://www.greatbigvegchallenge.blogspot.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814165.post-16865655920137174282007-04-13T18:05:00.000+02:002007-04-13T18:05:00.000+02:00Oh English food is quite nice I think! I fell in love with the little Swedish Bakeries with their wonderful pastries, cakes and bread. I discovered one such place near where I was working that sold 'British Style sandwiches' - they even had a little Union Jack flag stuck in them.

They were the best egg sandwichs I have ever tasted. The Swedes were playing the Brits at their own game and winning.

So it does not surprise me that as a Swede you should decide to write about these sarnies.

But please don't stop your husband from showing us his spotted dick, as well, if that's what he wants to do!Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07081680210434938456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814165.post-34937656825305872342007-04-13T15:59:00.000+02:002007-04-13T15:59:00.000+02:00Aww,that's very cute :)Aww,that's very cute :)Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18224478760304481724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814165.post-59962226778807178982007-04-13T15:22:00.000+02:002007-04-13T15:22:00.000+02:00If you haven't seen this post yet you should reall...If you haven't seen this post yet you should really check it out.
